Is it wise to talk of the ‘need’ for austerity AND Labour running up debts when the Tories have racked up more debt than every Labour government in history combined?
So do you think it is fiscally prudent to continue to borrow and spend other peoples money in perpetuity? I'd hate to think how you budget for your household. Yes I blame Labour for being utterly irresponsible. I don't wear red blinkers. Remember the treasury note? 'There is no money left'

Yet you’ll happily wear the blue blinkers. If you can’t acknowledge that austerity and Tory policies have had a huge impact on the rise of poverty you are just as blinkered as you presume everyone else to be. And re the evidence of racking up more debt than every Labour government in history combined, it’s a known fact. Do your own homework.

You may believe yourself to be superior but YOU called me pathetic for daring to disagree with you. Even if I did provide evidence of the Tory debt (for which a simple Google search will point you in the right direction) I’m sure you’d dismiss it as you have the impact of Tory austerity and policy on the rise of poverty in the last 7 years. But you’re right, there really is no point debating with someone who is illiterate and blinkered, and as you appear to be both I wish you a pleasant evening. Oh and I’m a PlayStation man

I think you'll find Labour wracked up the biggest debt ever hence the need for austerity just to try and get back on an even keel. God help us if the red crew led by that idiot JC ever get into government. I can guarantee that you will never experience debt like they will cause

Except that’s not true. There was a sharp increase in national debt after the taxpayer shouldered the financial crash for bankers in 2008. But since the Conservatives took power in 2010, there has been a steady increase in government borrowing and the UK national debt has increased by over £555bn.
Yes and I thought the analogy with how money was raised was very pertinent to a said individuals thought processes.

So do you agree with increasing Govt spending and therefore increasing Govt debt, or reducing Govt debt through austerity, or as some might call it, attempting to live within your means as a country ? I'm confused as you seem to be against both options

Yep, seems not to understand the difference between debt and deficit. Typical illiterate socialist economics. Blame the Tories for total debt increasing, yet at the same time oppose any attempt to reduce Govt expenditure.
