When the Express starts printing Brexit DOOM you know we're in trouble

http://www.express.co.uk/finance/ci...ens-Euro-EUR-house-price-growth-four-year-low

Meanwhile huge drops in sales of cars last month compared to a year ago compared to a year ago

Vauxhall down 41%
Peugeot down 30%
Ford down 23%
Citroen down 26%
Fiat down 44%

Meanwhile Audi, BMW, Merc, Aston, Land Rover & Porsche doing well or very well. It becoming increasingly clear who are the winners and losers from Brexit.

Looks like the losers are the French,Italian,Spanish, and German car industries,as none of those listed by percentages are built in the UK,not even Vauxhall.Winner, our balance of payments!:lolol:

Actually the Germans are doing well. Bit it is true they many can't put GBP prices up as us Brits can't afford imported stuff. Another 7 year low on the Euro today, all time low not far away now

The eurozone’s economic boom this year is already starting to cool as the surging euro takes its toll on export industries and the recent fiscal boost wanes.

German industrial output fell by 1.1pc in June from a month earlier – the first drop this year – and the latest Sentix gauge of investor expectations for the eurozone fell sharply.

The reading for Germany dropped from 12.5 to 5.8 in August amid deepening worries over the diesel scandal in the car industry. "It is become increasingly clear that economic momentum has passed its high point,” said Manfred Hubner from Sentix.

Meanwhile back in Blighty ..

Firms recruiting at fastest rate in two years

Companies lift wages as they compete for staff

The booming jobs market shows no signs of abating, according to figures from recruitment agencies that show the fastest rise in jobs placements for more than two years.

With the emission scandals around the world, and the continuing problems with the Vauxhall/Opel Zippo,or whatever it's called, don't think things are quite as bright as you make out.The short-time work at some factories might cut back the arrogance a bit.

It's just been announced that "German industrial production is up 1.8 per cent on the previous quarter, leaving the German economy in a strong position."

Meanwhile the pound plummets and UK growth and spending slow.

Look what you could have had.

If the Eurozone cools this will only add to our woes, a strong Europe might save us from another R. Domestic demand is weak

Not directly Brexit related, as it applies to non EU arrivals, but indicative of our border enforcement capabilities and a sign of the times and for the future over the need to further cut costs from our already overstretched Home Office/UK Border Agency Resources. The Mail & The Express don't like it:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-landing-cards-undermine-border-security.html
http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/83...se-checks-16-MILLION-non-EU-migrants-security

Neither does Tim Loughton MP so it can't possibly be a good thing.

The new system wont be up and running until the end of the year at the earliest and there'll still be no counting people in and out of the country.

I must admit we were a bit bemused on our recent flight from La Rochelle. The stewardesses asked if anyone needed landing cards-thought they'd been consigned to history. Can't think why immigration would want them, given all passengers have provided API,but assumed it would be something to do with the EU's shambolic tightening of rules?

Nobody in The UKBA has an idea - it told 'em where they were staying - it gave them a chance. What's your learned view on it? To me it's just an administrative shambles as it always has been.

If there were anyone on the flight from outside the EU, they would need a landing card, I am pretty sure. Non EU nationals have always continued to go through a separate channel at Channel Ports.

I believe it was the way individual countries implemented the rules that was shambolic rather than the rules themselves. Clearly they were given too much sovereignty.

Amazing how consumption of alcohol or substances turned you into a brave keyboard warrior in the midnight hour. You call me a cock sucking bigot, when other than trolling on here and coming up with remarks like that, you're all over Muslim threads making derogatory remarks and trolling on them? You seem more 1970's National Front than 1970s Labour to me.

I know Corbyn's track record and the fact he's hardly pro-EU thanks. This country's already in big trouble now and the foreseeable. Post Brexit I hope he becomes PM though. It was a bit late when you made these rambling, substance induced posts though. Are you sure it's me all that's all over the place?

It's getting a bit boring you calling remain voters Tories, as trolling goes it's a rather poor effort. I don't need to support Chukka Ummna, ultimately he's irrelevant to it all rather like you. Len McLuskey and The Unions have more relevance and influence to Labour's Brexit and single market stance down the road than him and trolls like you.

Hope you're not feeling too unwell this morning.

Of course you are a Tory big business cock sucking shithouse. The irony here is of course you indicated previously you were immune to name calling, yet this line of insult seems to get under your skin. I would suggest you listen to comedian Bill Hicks, he had a way of communicating his ire at big business cock sucking shithouses like you too.......good old Bill.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?autoplay=1&v=ovc-O_z4daQ

You on the other hand have resorted to a default level strategy of modern political discourse in Britain which arises when someone disagrees with someone else by resorting to innuendo and allegations of racism. Feel free to call MAMA with my "derogatory remarks" on the Muslim threads, (or should that be the terrorism related threads), and highlight my hate crimes.......it's 1/3 on my tissue that far from racism you simply disagree with my comments (plus ca change). Alternatively you could just grow up.

As for the seemingly eternal difficulty you have on the EU, the fact remains that long standing opposition remains to it from the left, you argue passionately for the EU, and now for Corbyn as PM but you don't see the ridiculousness of holding that position.

Union leadership is now tracking its membership and falling behind Corbyn's policy of "extreme Brexit" as you would call it, but don't take it from me take it direct from the GMB.

https://www.morningstaronline.co.uk/a-9e98-GMBs-new-pro-Brexit-stance-will-help-Corbyn

The fact is that Blairism is not socialism, you and others are confused by the historic economic demands of the left, with contemporary social value demands of the left. It's why in France economically speaking Le Pen was far more left wing than that extreme capitalist EU loving Macron.

It's why you and others are all over the place with the EU, and why deep down whilst you know you are Tory big business cock sucking shits, you prefer denial. Acceptance Margaret.

My word. 07:40 and you're already frothing at the mouth. Why do you possess so much anger and bitterness and especially at such an early hour?

It makes it even funnier that the post he's responding to is over five days old.

Yes. Going back to something so long ago does say quite a bit about someone's character.

But, to be fair, I'm guessing he was sobering up. Did you see his 1am outburst 5 days ago? No one was spared his anger, EU, muslims etc etc. He was away.... I'm guessing he didn't get laid that night. :lolol:

Past time for sensible MPs in all parties to admit Brexit is a catastrophe, come together In new party if need be, and reverse it #euref19

Meanwhile the EU gravy train rattles on down the track.

The European Commission was today plunged into a row over its travel expenses after it emerged that Jean-Claude Juncker had splashed out £24,000 of taxpayers’ money on a private plane for a two-day visit to Rome.

The commission spent half a million euros on travel for its commissioners in January and February 2016, which works out at £8,000 being claimed by each of the 28 commissioners every month.

No wonder they have fought so hard to keep their expenses claims secret. #takebackcontrol
