I'm home alone watching the Ealing classic 'Kind Hearts and Coronets' one of my all-time favourite films. So what's your fave?

Off the top of my head:

American Werewolves in London
The Yob
Dead Man's Shoes
Zulu
Who Dares Wins
Mona Lisa
Trainspotting
In Which We Serve
Withnail and I
Elizabeth
Man With The Golden Gun
Italian Job

Any others to add to that list?

Human Traffic.
Get Carter.
Lock, stock and two smoking barrels.
Snatch.
The Business.
Severance.
Clockwork Orange.
Football Factory.
Mike Bassett England manager.

Favourite out of the lot is Lock, stock. A really good gangster film and fantastic one-liners.

The Cruel Sea
I hope these are all proper British films as I think some have been made by American studios, does that matter?

Oh Mr. Porter.. The pre-war classic comedy. with the great Will Hay, (possibly my fave comedy actor ever), Moore Mariott, and Graham Moffatt.

Dated now obviously, but very much of it's time, and allegedly it was partly through watching this film, that gave Jimmy Perry his idea for Dads Army.

Although there's some pretty good films in this list only Trainspotting and Gregorys Girl would get anywhere near my Top 10.

We just aren't very good at making movies, are we?
