If he signs then it's great business by Steve . We've basically swapped gayle and bolasie for benteke and Townsend for the same amount of money . Allowing for their higher wages this is a good swap .

I just popped on the BBC site and picked three matches from Jan '16 onwards at random: H v Liverpool, H v Watford and A v Arsenal. The same back 4 for each of those games. Cabaye, Jedinak in those three. Zaha in all three (one as sub), Bolasie in two of them. Ledley in two, Wickham in two. Hennessey in two. You had injuries, sure but still a fairly settled side. You weren't "decimated" at all. You were just shit. Sorry that's so hard to accept.

This is a good deal for Palace. Getting Benteke for the same price that they sold Bolasie, give or take, is an improvement to their overall squad.

Good luck in getting it paid. The record of Palace fans honouring bets on NSC is in line with their attitude to administration except you'll be lucky to get anything at all.

As I said earlier in the thread, if my team had benefitted from not paying their debts twice, I wouldn't be gloating so much on rivals forums and have over 2,500 posts on there.
