Do you like your first name? Would you change it, if you could?

My name is Greg. It's short for Gregory. I hate my name. The only person who calls me Gregory is my mum when she is annoyed or telling me off!

If i could change my name I would change it to Marcus or Marc.

Does your name say something about you? My grandfather was called Archibald but he was never bald...

There are other names I prefer to mine, but I still wouldn't change it.

Don't like my full correct christian name, but my late parents were just about the only 2 people in the world that used it. Quite happy with the shortened version I am usually known by.

As a child growing up in the early 90's I wanted to change my name to Kevin because of that pesky kid in home alone.

That possibly gives a poor reflection on me. My idea of cool and how lonely I must have been to have no real life role models to look up to, such a sad case

As a kid I remember being upset that I didn't have a middle name when everyone else seemed to have one, so I used to say my brothers name was my middle name

I've been contemplating changing my name over the past couple of years, both Christian and surname. My first name, Ian, is such an old fashioned name, I've never liked it.
My surname I want to ditch because I have absolutely nothing in common with my used-to-be-family.
I can't find a name that is cool but not stupid at the same time.

Very happy with my name, a good old saints name that goes on forever.

More rewardingly my son and daughter both said they love the names they were given.

Im not a fan of my christian name, however pointless changing it as everyone calls me Marshy anyway.

I have long standing friends of over 15 years, and Im pretty sure they dont know my christian name....
