Would say Anichebe is just about the antithesis of the type of striker we need to complete our foward options. A nippy penalty box predator who'll dart in behind defences and feed off Murray and Hemed's flick-ons is what I hope we're looking for. Andre Gray mark II, essentially (if he's out there somewhere). But then, wouldn't everyone love to have one of those..

That's harsh. Whilst I'll admit that he hasn't scored as many goals as I'd have liked, he still more than does his bit for the greater team ethic in other areas, making goals, tireless running, and working hard.

There is always the chance too that those goals will come. He has had more than his fair share of bad luck injury wise too.
