Why? He's not very good

Idea we can cherry pick goalscorers at the Euros is arrogant. Would Vokes join us? Which better player who has scored there do you think realistically we could sign? Reality check time . . .

But that said, overall, yes. I don't fancy him..................

(Vardy anyone, 2 years ago?)

Er. Ok..Sorry I may have got your stance wrong.

I liked Vokes when he was here actually. I'm dissapointed we didn't sigh him

How is it that Coleman can get him playing.? Why have Reading sacked so many coaches.? He is far more impressive than half the shite turning out for England,

That's what I was thinking. I think we have players that the right Manager should get better out of them. It is interesting that Robson-Kanu was playing the lone man upfront at times (a sort of Baldock role). I thought he was playing well before the goal. And Vokes never played well under Poyet either although he has since proved he was (or could have been) the right choice.

In short I am still into total football, not specialist footballers (although appreciated), and that it is best to get young players that are not set in their specialist style.

There is a very good reason Reading released him. He is not consistent and when he's not playing or playing well is a stroppy git.

I can't believe anybody actually wants us to sign this fraud based on a decent International tournament.

We don't play in the EURO's, we play in the Championship. Where HRK has scored 17 goals in 175 games.

I'm no quit sure where tis, "He's OK in the Euros, but the Euros aren't like the Championship - he could never cut it there" mentality is going. Championship a higher level than the Euros, maybe?

..........or maybe not.

confidence is as important for a striker as it is for a golfer........if you are lacking in confidence you are beaten before you start ,maintaining your confidence over a 46 game season is something that is very hard to do.....being dumped by reading would indicate that hrk is not very good also we don't have a very good record with double barrelled players....pass.

So using your logic because the welsh full back who has never scored for swansea but nearly scored his 2nd of the tournament last night, is better then Philipp Lahm who scored 11 times for Munich but only 5 in 113 at international level?

he will go to somewhere like West Brom or possibly Besiktas or Celtic and make himself a lot of money. Fair play to him.

I wouldn't buy a player based on his experiences wearing his national shirt over his league record. David Healy was another that rose to the occasion for his country. In his 14 year career he his best season was, I think, 14 goals, reaching double figures in only two other seasons yet he was prolific for Northern Ireland..
