The news media at the time uncritically accepted Virgin's 'evidence' so they could claim Corbyn was lying. It actually turns out the train was full and people did have to sit in the corridors or stand all the way to Newcastle (or wherever). An experience loads of people who regularly travel by train in the UK have had (but you live thousands of miles away in Australia, so I'm guessing you wouldn't know that).

Of course not - Quite incredible really that they choose to ignore. Anyone who's travelled on a busy train KNEW from the moment they say the original footage that not being able to see someone in a seat (from behind) <> to someone actually being there!
