It could well have been a reference to the fact that disproportionate numbers of retired and (I believe) unemployed people voted Leave. Why do you say that there is no evidence for that?

Greenland leaving and Denmark remaining is like asking the EU if they mind if the Isle of Man leaves the EU whilst the UK remains. Of course that would not be a major issue and not really comparable to the Scotland situation where if the rest of the U.K (including one of the major global financial cities) leaves

There is no evidence, even if 48% of those who voted (48% is what can be correctly described as a minority) would like there to be.

You almost got this right, but the Parents and Grandparents were not spiteful and malicious, some were included in the thick, uneducated and racist, the rest were gullible and naive.
There is another group, the miscalculating protest voters, who wanted to stay in, but let the EU know they are not happy with a few things.
There are some thick and uneducated people amongst the remain voters too, but you got all the racists, the protestors and the gullible.
So they're not even predicting a recession. Wow, what an economic catastrophe.
What facts are you referring to?
