Opposites of "National Treasures". "National Pains-in-the-arse" perhaps?

Alan Bennett was always mortified at the title of 'national treasure'. It somehow reminds one of their own mortality. ..

I disagree wholeheartedly with a few of the names already on here.

But I would include Ricky Gervase, which others will no doubt disagree with.

None of the above have any other talent than sounding of their mouths, none even elected/electable.None of them try to pass themselves of as comedians either, clowns maybe.

George Galloway. He really is just a pain in the arse. Deliberately sets out to be a nause. He is right up there with the already mentioned Russell Brand and Piers Morgan for me.

Adrian Durham. Not really nationally famous enough to be included along really well known people, but has me reaching for the off switch before he even starts.

Benedictine Cumberbatch. Stick to acting mate and you would be far more popular.

Graham Poll. Good grief who the Hell does he think he is? OK so he reffed at a decent level but now makes a living slagging off refs. Nauseating.

I could go on (and on)
