When you consider we'll be going up there with Dunk, Goldson, Rosenior Knockaert and Skalak all in top form instead of the Greer, Hunemeier, Calde, Murphy and VLP that faced them back in December there's every reason for us to feel confident and for them to feel apprehensive.
Yeah but what you're forgetting is that Dunk is a liability and plenty on NSC have offered to drive him to Fulham themselves, Goldson is a League 2 player, Rosenior is a right back, not a left back, and Skalak is absolutely woeful, another rubbish signing. Only Knockaert is a top half Championship level player.

And Baldock is a sick note who does nothing when he plays, and Hemed is nowhere near Championship standard. Don't know why we are bothering turning up at Riverside

From that thread:

"It will be interesting for the "Brighton fans" in the PL as a lot of those that go to the Amex actually support a different PL team and only go when their team are playing away but will they continue to support Brighton as they will be a direct rival ??"

Where the hell did that piece of fiction come from? Of course we all support other teams, we only buy season tickets in such numbers 'coz we're all so drenched in cash that we can afford to do that and only turn up when we're not busy at the Emirates or something.

No doubt judging us on attendances during the crisis/Gillingham/Withdean years, rather than on our historical fan base.

Sometimes fans' views of clubs other than their own really are beyond weird...

One thing that always bugged me was that the journos would always refer to our league one title over southampton as a 'close' battle. We clinched the title when we were 16 points clear of them and then were on the beach from then on. Saints picked up points and made it look close but it was anything but.

We UTTERLY VIOLATED League One that season. It was over with MONTHS to go. One of the biggest batterings of a league seen in the last few decades. We absolutely strolled it.

It's our defence that has changed BIG time from then but only Knockout for van le Parra has seen us go goal CRAZY

Dunk, Goldson, Baldock, Knockaert and Skalak are all likely to start against Boro this time around, and each has scored in the last five matches.

As has Sidwell, who is likely to be a sub.

Importantly, we also have Rosenior and Bong back.

Bring. It. On.

That's the Boro team on Dec 19. No wonder we got spanked.

Apart from the fact it's a 10 man team, it's not that bad a team, but Wilson wasn't as integrated as I hope he is now, and we didn't have a strong bench to call on, so everyone was knackered. Still, Middlesbrough took their chances, and when the opposition take all their chances you're in trouble. Middlesbrough missed a hat-full against Ipswich, it's amazing that finished nil nil, but that's football.
