A memorable goal for Brighton & Hove Albion against Bolton Wanderers.

Kurt Nogan
Bolton Wanderers 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
(30 January 1993, Division Two, Burnden Park)The player

Kurt Nogan was a former Luton striker and also used to clean Steve Foster’s boots! He scored on his Hatters debut against Liverpool in 1990, but was released two years later. He arrived at the Goldstone in 1992, hitting 60 goals in 120 matches for the Seagulls, impressing with his speed and eye for goal. The goal
After facing immense pressure from promotion chasers Bolton, Brighton won a rare throw-in near the corner flag on the right wing. With his back to goal, Nogan chested the ball smartly to elude his marker. Now on the goal line, he knocked the ball past the right-back, before running around the other side to collect it. As he collected it, his touch bamboozled two more defenders to the ball, before sending an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.
