Whilst I wouldn't want to claim he's a big fat liar, of course, the chap in the programme stated they'd been doing this for generations, and I think Mr B may have been a little too young to trump that statement?

Serously though, total fair play to Lewes for trying to rustle up something a bit beyond the ordinary at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't happen in the 1901 Club.
As much as I love a pint of Harvey's, the occassional Piglet's or Pukka Pie, and other such fare you can't beat a cup of beef tea!
