I'm gonna wait until (Shrove) Tuesday .....

Golden syrup - good
Lemon juice & sugar - nice
Nutella - bootiful

Ice cream and my teeth don't get on, so that'll be a no from me.

Odd. I guess at some point in the last 51 years my birthday must have fallen on Shrove Tuesday, but I don't ever remember it.

Oh and yes, pancakes and maple syrup will be eaten for desert tonight, although I'd bloody better get a birthday cake too.

Here in Ikealand, they eat pancakes every single Thursday after their Pea Soup, so the novelty wears off after a while

BUT! Today, instead of pancakes, they celebrate Fettisdagen (Fat Tuesday) by eating Semlor!

Yep. The Mrs and I do a veggie day on Tuesday's so tonight will be spinach, mushroom and cheese pancakes followed by good old lemon and sugar.
