Albion are on the brink of completing the capture of one of the hottest prospects in Norwegian football.
They are set to land teenage attacker Henrik Bjordal from Aaelesund on a long-term deal for a fee in the region of £300,000.
Bjordal, only just turned 18, has already represented Norway's under-21s.
Aalesund wanted him to sign a new five-year contract but, with six months left on his existing deal, Bjordal wants to pursue a career in England with the Seagulls.
He was unavailable for an intended trial at Spurs last year.
Aalesund use Bjordal as a winger in the Norwegian first division. The 6ft 2ins powerhouse*can also operate as a No.10 or out-and-out striker.

Albion need to strengthen their development squad for next season, when the emergency loan transfer windows will no longer be in existence.
It means clubs will have to look from within their own ranks for senior squad back-up outside the permanent transfer windows.
