Remember we were told that these migramts were doctors, nurses, lawyers and highly educated. They would be a real boon to the economy. Then we learned that over two thirds of them cannot read or write, let alone behave like civilised human beings...

Politicians have admitted that Germany’s recent migrant influx is set to cost taxpayers at least €30 billion a year. In addition to forking out for the day-to-day living costs and of more migrants, the German government will sharply increase spending on its police and security services after an unprecedented influx of migrants entered the country. A German newspaper has quizzed various departments on how much taxpayers’ money they expect to spend on the excess of a million migrants who arrived in the country last year.

Integration will be the government’s biggest outlay, accounting for two thirds of the total €30 billion figure. Teachers, day care centres, schools, language courses, and housing all come under this umbrella. The Federation of German Towns and Municipalities estimate that the cost of providing these services to migrants will cost taxpayers €20 billion a year. It warned that by 2018 there would also be €2.6 billion additional costs for accommodation. The Federation’s CEO, Gerd Landsberg, told Bild: “The integration of refugees is a Herculean task, which in particular challenges the municipalities”.

Among the expenses that municipalities are splashing out for are pupil places at €1.625 million a year, creche and daycare centre places at €400 million a year, schoolteachers at €300,000 a year minimum and other educators, at a minimum cost of €972 million per year. In addition to this, the Federation says they must pay €35 an hour to a required 350,000 German language teachers, €240 million per year plus for social workers, and that school psychologists are going to cost €40 million a year. As well as this, a planned 75,000 new homes for migrants will cost taxpayers a minimum of €1.125 billion in subsidies.

Eva Lohse, the president of the German Association of Cities, called on the federal government to release funds for migrants quickly, as only then can regions adequately fund integration measures. Ludwigshafen, where Ms. Lohse is mayor, currently has a severe shortage of school psychologists, interpreters, social workers, and daycare educators.

Beyond integration, the migrant crisis will significantly raise the country’s security bill. The estimated minimum requirement of 20,000 new police officers is set to cost taxpayers a minimum of €1.3 billion per year, a figure expected to have an “upward trend”. In addition to this, 11,000 new positions are to be created at the federal police level. Member of Parliament (MP) Eckhardt Rehberg told Bild: “We have already alloted a billion euros for a programme for internal security and the spending in this area will increase in 2020 to €2.6 billion.”

Socialist mayor of Munich Dieter Reiter invited 1,300 young people to attend a traditional celebration, inviting several migrants, as well. According to reports, the migrants harassed and sexually assaulted numerous teen girls.

“There is no tolerance for such behaviour at all,” Mayor Reiter stated after the allegations came out in the German press. The event, which happens on an annual basis, sees all 18-year-olds in the city invited to the city hall to celebrate and have fun. On the upper level of the building, a dancefloor complete with DJs was set up and was the location where the assaults began.

One girl, who the paper refers to as Constanze to protect her identity, claims that several young asylum seekers were aggressively dancing around her and her friends all throughout the night. Despite the girls firmly telling the migrants they weren’t interested they refused to leave them alone. The girls left to go downstairs and were followed by the migrants who grabbed them and attempted to drag them into a spare room.

Security managed to forcibly remove the five asylum seekers out of the building to the relief of Constanze, but later talking to the press she said she was reluctant to identify the men as migrants. The young woman is a supporter of the mayor inviting migrants to the event and said she didn’t want to stir up prejudice against migrants – though she stated the situation on the dance floor was “abnormally violent”.

Another 18-year-old woman wasn’t as fortunate as Constanze. The teen was attacked by an 18-year-old Syrian migrant who badly bruised her as he tried to forcefully kiss her. The girl fought back against the man and he was arrested by police for sexual assault, but later released. German women who have been the victims of sexual abuse by migrants have been reviled as xenophobic and racist in the past for identifying their attackers as migrants or of Middle Eastern or North African heritage. One young woman, who was one of the hundreds of victims of sexual assault on New Year’s Eve in Cologne, even received threats after speaking out about her experience.

The prevalence of migrant sex attacks in Germany has not shown any signs of slowing down as swimming pools and music festivals have become hotspots for attacks. Mayor Reiter has said that the attacks show why integration has become an important issue in Germany, though a new study this week has shown migrants have become far more insular over the last few years rather than integrating into German society.

Fair play to you as well for debating my post and not insulting. I appreciate it is hard to control the influx but Germany just opened their borders and many could see that thousands were just economic migrants and troublemakers among them.
I will probably get shot down in flames for my next prediction....... but i think there COULD be big trouble looming in the next couple of years in Germany..... i believe that trouble COULD brew when the German people get fed up and turn on those that have no intention of integrating... to put it politely.

Mate trouble is rife throughout the whole of Europe never mind Germany alone.. and it shall continue just as long as the EU continues to exist. that my friend is a guaranteed certainty.
