Albion are set to beat Championship rivals to the signature of League of Ireland ace Richie Towell.
The Seagulls are expected to complete the capture of the prolific 24-year-old Dundalk midfielder in the next 48 hours.
Ex-Celtic prospect Towell, the Irish PFA player of the year, scored 25 League goals to help double winners Dundalk retain the title.
