I only had a simple figure of eight Scalextric but loved my John Player special car, one of my neighbours had the mini car set up with much more complex track, this is an advert for the 80',s I dreamt of cars with lights and all the extras but never got them.

I had the same car. My only memories of 'playing' with 1980's scalextric is a lot of wire wool and immense frustration...

Ah Zoids! used to love those. and the Original Transformers toys, along with toy cars and vans from a kids TV show called M.A.S.K.. happy days

Yes doI I remember having a small wire wool brush and how the wires would not attach to the track, do I remember sparks off the track from them as well
