Loads over that when we were at the Godstone
This is precisely the moot point. For a club that "regularly got 30,000 at The Goldstone" the total number in 114 years is surprisingly few. We are currently in a Golden Age.

30,750 - 1,905 = 28,845

Some seats will have been set aside for segregation but the Wilson signing will encourage a few more ditherers to plunge.

My guess is it looking quite full (gaps at the back of ESU not obvious and other empties dotted around) and announced at about 28,378 ...

Can't wait.

The southern half of E1H is currently empty
The away allocation of 2090 is likely to be S1B to S1E (possibly not all of S1E) so S1A will be empty unless loads turn up from Brum on the day
The eastern half of S1F is currently empty.

Even if Brum bring their full 2090 then the empty blocks account for about 900 seats.

Add these 900 to those currently available:-

North = 313 (38 sold in 5h)
ESL = 153
ESU = 486 (22 sold in both east stands in 5h)
WSL = 343
WSU = 237 (83 sold in both east stands in 5h)
South = 236 (24 sold in 5 h)

So I make it there will currently be 2668 un-occupied seats plus an unknown number on the school shelf.

Not unreasonable to suggest then if the game was to kick off now there would be an attendance of 27500. My 29k prediction therefore looks too optimistic, as I admit was the fact that the WSU would be virtually sold out by the weekend - still time tho and consider it's also pay day weekend. Just need the weather to brighten up now! :amex:

214 in the South (22 sold in 5h)
266 in the North (47 sold in 5h)
142 in the ESL (11 sold in 5h)
478 in ESU (8 sold in 5h)
227 in WSU (10 sold in last 5h)

Basically 100 gone since 4pm

Biggest gate of the season now pretty much guaranteed.

Agreed. Depending on shelf and usual other uncertainties it looks like it should be 28K+.
