As Hemed missed chance after chance against MK Dons, our little area of the WSU mused that if Glenn Murray had been playing for us, we'd have been 3 or 4 up.

Would you take him on loan until January when we may well SPLURGE on a marquee striker?

Yes. Bit of a redundant question though given he's just gone to Bournemouth for millions.

What if, talking purely hypothetically, Howe and Murray had a big falling out such that Murray won't get another game at Bournemouth, which might explain him mysteriously not making the 18 for their last game against Newcastle?

85 min: Should they lose this match, it’s difficult to imagine how Bournemouth’s players will react. On the one hand, they’ve played very well and created no end of chances, which is encouraging. On the other, they’ve failed to convert a single one of those chances, while their two best strikers are sitting in the stands. Callum Wilson is out for the season with injury and busy texting somebody on his mobile phone. Glenn Murray’s presence beside him remains a mystery for now.

Bournemouth’s superiority was demonstrated by the fact that they had 20 efforts on goal to Newcastle’s two, but perhaps that also shows that their finishing does not match their high-tempo approach play in the absence of the injured Callum Wilson. His unavailability made it all the more surprising that Glenn Murray, signed from Crystal Palace for £4 million, was not even in the squad, although uninjured.

Rumoured to have had a bust up with Howe at half time against Southampton.
Doubt you could afford his wages, allegedly on over £30 k a week, can't see Bournemouth letting him go on loan without all the wages, plus loan fee, being paid.

Northern Hemisphere.
He's just bought a brand new luxury home in Withdean.

We'd love him back, he'd love to be back.

Zamora and Murray upfront together would be like an Albion dream team. Let's make it happen

There's also been 'strong' rumours going round that they are after another striker, hence them being linked with Adebayour and BWP in recent days.

After giving him a 3 year contract perhaps Howe is annoyed he hasn't moved to the area,a 5 hour commute isn't ideal.

His new luxury house in Withdean isn't built yet. I think he is living down there - at least some of the time. More likely he's just realised that Eddie Howe is an absolute prick n

About a month ago he bought a £2 million house in Brighton, married to a Brighton lass. Maybe offer the £4 million for him and he would be happy with a very decent wage, but less than he is on now and a very nice promotion bonus.
