The Angles are from Holland if I remember rightly as 'anglo saxon'
You remember incorrectly sir! The English are mostly Angles and Saxons who were primarily from modern Denmark and Germany. The Dutch and Danes are both German as well anyway.

Your Queen is German

nope, more Danish and Croatian than German. though mostly English with some Scotish.

Yes we are a mixture as are all nations. The Normans were German as well.

Normans were Vikings (Norsemen), though i dont recall if from Sweden or Danish area. either way what was significnat was the vikings and germans were largely the same, with similar gods and culture. th Normans oddly absorbed the local customs and language of the French before their expedition to England. shame.

The Normans were Viking people who had a kingdom in the north of France, they then decided that England by certain family reasons should belong to them.

1066 battle of hastings was what happened next.

Us, the Saxons lost

Hardly German. Germany is a modern country with modern boundaries. As you say, we're a mix. We're all from Africa originally.

Norsemen, which is more Scandinavian.

Always thought they were Norwegian, who had settled in northern France, or you saying the Norwegians are German.

Pretty much the whole Royal line of Europe have come from them.
Yes the Normans were originally Scandinavian. The Norwegians, Swedes and Danes were all descended from Germanic tribes. Incidentally, germane/German means related or family, both of which are apposite when referring to the large brood of Germanic tribes!

Thank heavens for the EU. We are one, it's all a lot easier these days.
