Albion could be without skipper Gordon Greer for Bristol City's visit tomorrow night.
Liam Rosenior is also a doubt to face one of his former clubs but Gaetan Bong is poised to maintain his ever-present record in the Championship.
The Seagulls are assessing the jarred knee which forced Greer off late in the first half of Saturday's 2-1 win at Leeds.
Rosenior was replaced in the second half and left-back Bong played on with a gashed foot.
Assistant manager Colin Calderwood said: "We've got two or three knocks from the weekend. We've got checks on Liam Rosenior and Gaetan, and hopefully they are going to come through. We'll probably have to assess them in the morning.
"Gaetan's got a cut on his foot but I don't think that is going to be a problem. I think he should definitely be okay.
"Liam took a couple of dead legs. He has a bit of stiffness. Liam puts in a huge amount of work and there is a cost to that. It takes time to recover but the dead legs really slowed him down in the second half."
Ex-Bristol loanee Lewis Dunk and Uwe Huenemeier will continue in the centre of defence if Greer is absent, with Connor Goldson likely to be called onto the bench after sidestepping the under-21s game against Derby today.
Andrew Crofts, brought on for his first appearance for a year at Leeds, and Inigo Calderon are in contention to cover for right-sided midfielder Rosenior if he is ruled out.
Kazenga LuaLua (groin) will resume full training this week with a view to being available for Preston's visit on Saturday, when Jamie Murphy returns from a three-match ban.
