Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-21 side return to action when they host Derby County at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre today, kick-off 1pm.The Seagulls will be looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers three weeks ago in the team’s last competitive outing.
Goalkeeper Christian Walton is included in Simon Rusk’s 16-man squad for the match and will be aiming to make his first Albion appearance since returning from a loan spell at Bury.
Midfielders Jeffrey Monakana and Charlie Harris are in contention to start the game, along with forwards Daniel Akindayini and Connor Tighe.
Under-18 midfielder Jayson Molumby and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez have also made the step up from Ian Buckman’s squad for this fixture.
