Brighton & Hove Albion will appeal against Jamie Murphy's red card during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium.
The club will ask the Football Association to overturn Murphy's three-game ban which would rule him out until 24th October, and see him suspended for games against Cardiff City, Leeds United and Bristol City.

Albion boss Chris Hughton felt the red card was unfair, and that the Albion winger lost his footing, and slipped before he collided with Bolton's Neil Danns. An FA Regulatory Commission will review the club's submission along with match official Mark Hayward's report, before reaching a decision.
