Albion's*German rock Uwe Huenemeier is expecting a ban in his first season in English football.
The centre-half collected only four cautions in the Bundesliga last season for Paderborn but has been booked twice in five appearances for the Seagulls.
Albion head into tonight’s home game against Rotherham on top of the Championship table and on top of the yellow card table as well with 19 in six games.
Kazenga LuaLua is suspended for five of them, while Gaetan Bong and Dale Stephens have three each.
Huenemeier told The Argus: “Everybody said the referees in England whistle not as much as in Germany. You can play a bit harder.

“Hopefully I won’t get a lot of yellow cards but to get suspended in 46 games I think is normal as a central defender. In Germany I tried to play as fair as possible and I’ll try in England too.”
Albion have kept three clean sheets at home so far and have not conceded a goal in the Championship with Huenemeier on the pitch for a total of 261 minutes since Huddersfield’s equaliser last month.
He was substituted at half-time by manager Chris Hughton in the last away game at Ipswich because he was on a yellow card and could have been given another.
Huenemeier said: “I understood the decision to take me off. It was no problem for me, because we have a big and competitive squad. Lewis (Dunk) came on and did well.”
