Nice bloke most definitely but that's about it. I'm delighted he is gone because to be frank he was awful and a waste of wages. A lot of that i reckon is down to confidence and not settling down here.

Good luck to him. We mucked him about right royally down here - dropping him, lending him out, dragging him back and then replacing him with Leon Best. He's probably glad to be gone!

But the fault is with the FL for not punishing QPR to the full extent of FFP regulations. NFFC getting what they deserve IMHO...

Antonio leaving for 7m should hopefully mean we are out of embargo next season.

5 of our 7 subs on Saturday were academy youth players, and the championship is a long tough season. Great to see the young lads coming through, but it only bodes well for the future, it will result in relegation in the short term

Here's hoping COG turns out ok at his hometown club, sounds like a good character at least.

All the best for the season, you watched whilst others spent millions on marquee players breaking the rules, whilst you played fair.

Deserve all the success you get.

Well said. I genuinely wish COG well at Forest. Based on his time with us, he is a good hold-up player, poor finisher. But he did get a few goals for relegated Barnsley in the Championship a couple of season's ago, and he will feel better / less homesick with yourselves, so who knows? He's no Antonio tho!

Sorry but tough, your chairman knew the rules but bungled a promotion attempt. We suffered last season badly as we accepted the rules in place and adhered to them.

I hope something bad happens to QPR.

Well I'm no expert, but Forest were a bit of a running joke on here for some time (great club I know, bear with me). Every time a striker was rumoured to be on the move, we'd just all assume Forest were buying them, it seemed to be an addiction for your owner.

Delighted that Forest and Blackburn are getting their comeuppance. I have no sympathy with either. I do feel for their fans who could probably see that Billy Davies was a bell end unable to get that team promoted and was spending other peoples money on below par players, but that's just what happens when you have a crap infrastructure within the club.

QPR winged it and merely got lucky. Live by the sword, die by the sword and all that.

And when [MENTION=20476]SFI[/MENTION] says "Looking at all the money being thrown about, difficult to accept us and Blackburn are what's wrong with the game." I'd say he was completely wrong. I'd say flouting rules was a serious problem.

Did we really pay £2m for O'Grady as the local Nottingham Paper suggests? :

"Much travelled O'Grady cost Brighton £2m when he joined them from Barnsley last summer, but has found his first team opportunities limited on the south coast"

I thought it was only £500k!

No they're wrong, we paid £500k up front with further fees adding on based on performances and how the team did, we haven't paid anymore
