Brighton & Hove Albion's women's team will be looking to follow-up on their 4-0 opening day hammering of Forest Green Rovers last weekend, when they face Charlton Athletic, the team which finished one place behind James Marrs's side in third place in the Women's Premier League Southern Division last season.

Marrs has likened the clash to that of Manchester City and Chelsea in the Premier League last Sunday, saying, "It's quite a big one early in the season. I'd call it a six-pointer. I know it it's hard to say that in only the second week but we are both teams who could be up there. We lost there in the league last season and they beat us in the cup quarter-finals as well, which we were not happy about - and they have strengthened, so it promises be a good game for the neutral!"Jay Blackie, Deanna Cooper, Lucy Somes and Kirsty Barton were on target in last week's win, and Marrs was delighted that the girls' hard work in pre-season paid off, adding, "You never quite know what will happen on the opening day. Our fitness levels were very good. The players have been working hard all summer."
