I'm looking to buy/build a new PC for around £500(including OS). Here is what I've come up with so far:

Aerocool Integrator 700W Power Supply
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Motherboard with USB 3.0
AMD FX-4350 4.2Ghz Quad Core Processor
Nvidia GTX 750 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
1TB SATA3 6Gbs Hard Drive
Kingston HyperX 8GB
Onboard 7.1 Surround Sound Audio

This has come to £509 including Windows 8.1 64 bit

I have to admit I know F all about building computers so any advice is welcome.

That's a decent enough spec but what specifically do you want to do with, it can have a bearing on your choices. Also can you still buy Win7 if it's cheaper as you will be able to upgrade to Win10 next month from both 7&8.

Looking to be able to play any of the new games with a decent enough frame rate at medium/high video quality. Also I've just started doing a bit of basic video analysis and need a PC capable of editing and compiling videos. Windows 7 was only about £5 cheaper than 8.1.

Cheers for the feedback.
