Has anyone suggested David Villa on loan?

Or would we need to wait for Jan for this to happen?

Or would we need to wait until hell freezes over for this to happen?

Or should we just sign Peter Crouch or 'the' Kanu?

Would rather we went after a player who could stay with us a few years and which we could later sell on... someone like Mark Uth at Hoffenheim, has a year left on his contract, just coming into his prime and has a good goal return in a top league.

Bakambu looks the more likely on the basis of being speedy. Unfortunately I doubt he shone much in a 3-0 defeat. Either could be an answer if we can't get one of our other targets.

Bakambu is an excellent player! Strong, quick, powerful. 11 goals in 23 appearances last year in La Liga. Get him in.
