If we dont sign a striker this month I would be happy to see Hughton walk out on us. We are holding him back if he has to put up with another failure in the transfer window.

Another failure :nono: is that because every other window has been a failure, no wonder we are stuck at the bottom of the table with zero points, zero goals and had 49 goals chipped over our dodgy midget keeper

How on earth did we get promoted

And yet people are still moaning we haven't signed a striker.

:dunce:

It's not that long ago that we'd have stuck him on his own up front in the next game. Thank God those days are over.

Exactly. Our last few years have seen incredible transfer windows overall. It wasn’t that long ago we had JFC, Danny Holla & Rohan Ince as our midfield - oh and Gary Gardener (shudder). We all know from Bloom to the fans that it was disappointing not to get a striker in Aug, but we’ve done brilliantly this season so far, taking that into consideration.

Not sure failure is quite the right word but we do desperately need some more offensive players, If we lose Murray to injury we have serious problems, Skalak is not a good 4th choice winger and we need a decent back up for Gross now Brown is out for the season. I'm certain the club are working hard on it but you can see why fans get frustrated.

What ever happened to the Iranian winger who turned us down to stay in the Dutch league? ???

Had a long winded surname from memory.

:lolol:

They've worked their highly paid socks off over 9 months to produce a new striker vacuum.

Now, that they have achieved in full with aplomb... again...

We needed a new striker by August 31st at the latest.

We have had 12 open transfer window days since, and still no sign of one :nono:

No doubt Bullsh1tter-in-Chief, Mr Paul Barber, will be wheeled out again soon to let us all know how difficult it is to sign players, whilst all our rivals put their respective deals in place, and the lickers on here back the club up to the hilt be spouting utter bollox...

I mean a forward specifically. Everybody knows we need a striker. Hughton has said it himself. We may be mid table now but we have a strong possibility of being relegated. It may come down to a couple of extra goals that a natural striker would get us.
