No brainer if true, it's the return of the messiah commercial / excitement / shirt sales / bums on seats kickstart the club needs.

It would be great if he returned, the feel good factor, the buzz and the anticipation.
Players and supporters will be lifted alike.
The stadium noise frightening.
The experience, the quality and skill is still there, just waiting to be unlocked again.
Get him in for the preseason games and we will hit the the ground running in the new season.

I heard this from my best mate, today. Fwiw he was the first to tell me about Oscar and PIG having a bust up, I didn't believe it at the time, but he was proved right. Hope he's right this time.

Please let this be true........please, please!!!

Shirt sales and extra bums on seats would easily cover his wages.

The key to signing Zamora, is that there is no fee to pay. A fully fit Zamora would cost at least three or 4 million. But I think if you add 1 million towards what we can afford in wages per year and have a very much performance-based wage this is very possible.

11 goals in the last 4 seasons ..... I know he's a creative player but come on his best years are behind him. Wouldn't be suprised if we signed him but he's hardly gonna be the next ulloa.

Very much this. We can afford to pay players very good money but the bulk of their pay must be in a 'promotion bonus'. It's probably very naive of me to believe this would ever happen but it should. Pay Bobby £150k per year basic and slap on £850k if he hits a goal/assist target, we get promoted and he players a certain amount of games. Simples.
