Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane will make millions out of football but if you ask me, they are average to good players but also players, nothing more who are quite easily nullified by good defenders.

The top sides for the most part stopped Kane from scoring against them last season. And if you were to watch the World Cup matches for England, especially against Uruguy. They just put that big bruzer of a central defender at left back against Sterling and once he blootered him once then Sterling didn't even want the ball near him for the rest of the match

Strange assertion against Kane. He scored five goals in eight games against the top 5 (Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool) so 0.65 goals a game versus 0.56 goals a game overall. So a much better rate against the top sides. He is 21 and improving all the time. Is he the finished product? No, of course not, but if you think Kane is average you must be suicidal watching our lot.

Sterling is only 20. What you have done is confused the press hyperbole over how good a player is, with the reality of the situation. Our press has built him up (like so many before him) as the saviour of English football. He isn't that, but he is a highly promising player with pace and the ability to beat even the the very best players. Time will tell whether he is another Walcott (all pace no end product) or will amount to more in the long run. If he sorts his finishing out, he will be a world class player. Again, if you think Sterling is average, what are we watching week in week out at the Amex?
