Go for the cheaper Q-bot, the one where you book up a time for your ride. You can then go on this ride and them immediately via the app book up your next ride that the kids really want to do, which could be in about an hour's time which then allows you to queue up for another ride/attraction in the meantime.
You don't exit the park via a gift shop either, maybe they used to but not anymore. Yep food and drink is expensive so take a picnic!

Good idea.
Though it'll probably cost you more to park in Brighton for the day than it would have done for one of those queue passes.

Brain dead MUG SHEEP
Bit late now of course, but I was going to suggest Paultons Park ("its a hot-hoot"). Been there several times with the kiddies and they loved it. It was never totally mobbed when we went during summer holidays, the queues were pretty manageable. Some nice picnic areas, and you don't need to take out an overdraft to buy lunch.
Legoland prices were absolutely mindboggling.

When I went it felt a bit like going to a dirty toys R us store staffed by the most miserable teenagers who failed the KFC interview, whilst being routinely mugged on each corner. The kids enjoyed it though.
