Mustapha Carayol: The 26-year-old could be eligible to play against Chris Hughton’s side at the weekend. Carayol marked his return to the club on Tuesday by putting pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the Riverside until 2018.
In April 2013: Goals from Spanish duo Andrea Orlandi and David Lopez guided Albion to a 2-0 victory at Middlesbrough and moved them up to fifth in the league standings.
Defence: Boro boast the best defensive record in the Championship having conceded 37 goals from 45 games this term.
Deficit: Boro are third in the table with a goal difference of 31, compared to Bournemouth’s 50, meaning their chances of automatic promotion are practically impossible. Charlton would have to thrash the Cherries by 19 goals as it stands, while Boro would have to beat Albion.

Loan hero: Patrick Bamford has notched up 19 goals in all competitions since signing on a season-long loan from Chelsea last summer and was recently crowned the Football League’s Championship Player of the Year.
Ended run: Aitor Karanka’s side’s five-game winning streak came to an end at Fulham last week.
Safety secured: Albion sit five points above the bottom three with one game remaining of the campaign; mathematically cementing their Championship status for next season.

Brighton & Hove Albion: A win for Chris Hughton’s men on the final day of the season, could see the club climb one place up to 19th in the table.

Repetition: The Seagulls are unbeaten in the past two meetings at the Riverside, sealing two victories in the process.

One-hundred and six-years-ago: The two sides could not be separated in the very first meeting during a 1-1 stalemate in the FA Cup second round at the Goldstone Ground back in 1906. Boro’ went on to progress to the third round with a 3-1 win on home soil.
Upson: The former Albion centre-half scored the only goal of the game, four minutes from time, in the previous encounter at the Riverside to give the Seagulls a crucial victory.
Gordon Greer: The Seagulls skipper bagged an 88th minute consolation goal in the reverse fixture this term but ultimately Boro left the Amex with the three points.
Home advantage: Middlesbrough have lost just three times at home in the league, conceding just 12 times. Their last defeat at the Riverside came against Leeds United in February.
