The second half began in a lively fashion, with Twardzik and Kaiyne Woolery both having chances to break the deadlock for the Trotters.* Robin Deen came close for Albion when he headed wide from a Starkey free-kick, before substitute James Tilley fired a shot onto the crossbar.
*
Bolton substitute Elliot Newby was next to test the Seagulls' backline after cutting inside from the right, but his shot drifted harmlessly past the near post.
*
Starkey continued to be a threat going forward, as his cross-shot went just over the bar before another set-piece went narrowly past the left-hand post.
*
The Seagulls did break the deadlock with almost the last kick of the game when the referee pointed to the spot after Jason Davis was brought down inside the area.* Harris stepped up to take the resulting spot-kick and drilled home to give Simon Rusk’s side all three points.
*
ALBION: Walton; Hunt, White, Pappoe, Starkey; Rea, Harris; Barry (Tilley 55), Cole (Davis 68), Muitt; Deen. Subs not used: Doherty (GK), Dallison, Wiltshire.*
