Tomasz Kuszczak has been given a big seal of approval – by one of his more illustrious Wolves predecessors.
The Polish international will be in goal against his previous club when Wanderers visit the Amex today.
Kuszczak has taken over from popular Carl Ikeme, who has a foot injury.
And ex-Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray has been impressed by his efforts.
Murray, now a reporter for Sky Sports, said: “It was a difficult situation for him. He had been training at Oldham but been without a club.
“He was No.2 to Ikeme whereas the two previous years at Brighton he had played almost every game.
“Then in the first minute of his debut he conceded a goal to Reading.
“Since then he has shown us his shot-stopping ability.
“He is experienced and he has done well because they are big boots to fill. Ikeme has been absolutely outstanding for Wolves.
“Everyone has been very impressed with Tomasz.

“There have been a couple of moments when you have looked at his decision making.“But he has made some very important saves. Even in the 5-0 win over Rotherham he made a very important save.”
Wolves have only lost one of their 12 away games against teams currently below them in the Championship.
Murray reckons they will be on the attack today as they target a late push into the play-off bracket.
He warned: “Brighton will be facing a team who will go all out to win the game.
“The 2-2 draw last week against Watford was very entertaining.
“Wolves probably need to win six of their last ten at least to make the play-offs but they have got nothing to lose. That would take them to 76 points.
“They have lots of pace in attack, lots of craft and lots of confidence and belief.”
