Albion boss Chris Hughton is weighing up whether to take a chance with Craig Mackail-Smith at Reading tomorrow night.
The striker missed last week's 2-0 home victory over Derby with a minor hamstring strain.
Hughton said: "He's a lot better now and it's just whether we are prepared to risk that one or rest him for another game."
The visit to Reading begins a run of four games in 12 days for Albion before an international break.
