Albion remained nine points clear of the relegation zone today – as pressure grew on Millwall boss Ian Holloway.
Fans showed their discontent as the Lions were thrashed 4-1 by Norwich at the Den.
Meanwhile Wigan, the side just below the relegation cut-off line, were beaten 1-0 at home by Leeds.
Albion have a game in hand on all teams below them and a superior goal difference.
Fulham are now the team just above the drop zone, albeit with a buffer of eight points.
The Cottagers, routed 5-1 at home by Bournemouth last night, were overhauled today by Rotherham, who enjoyed a 2-0 success at Huddersfield. The Millers host Wigan next Saturday.
Jonny Howson (two), Gary Hooper (penalty) and Wes Hoolahan scored for dominant Norwich and turned up the heat on Holloway before Lee Gregory converted a late penalty.

Wigan officially said farewell to outgoing chairman Dave Whelan in an emotional pre-match ceremony.But they were sunk by Alex Mowatt’s 51st-minute finish for Leeds as their relegation worries deepened.
Kari Arnason and Connor Sammon were on target for Rotherham at Huddersfield, the second assisted by Lee Frecklington who was later sent off.
Rock bottom Blackpool slipped closer to League One as they were beaten 1-0 at home by Sheffield Wednesday.
