New Brighton signing Emmanuel Ledesma is available after he agreed a one-month loan from Middlesbrough.

Defender Greg Halford misses out with a knee problem and Solly March is still absent with a calf injury.

David Davis is a doubt for Blues with the knee injury that forced him out of the Middlesbrough game in midweek.

Demarai Gray, who played despite tonsilitis against Boro, is likely to keep his place but Michael Morrison's ankle problem will keep him out.

Head-to-head
◾Birmingham won the earlier meeting this season 1-0 at St. Andrew's in August - their first win in four meetings.
◾Birmingham have won three of the last five meetings at Brighton, drawing one and losing one.

Brighton
◾Brighton have not won any of their last five games in all competitions, losing three. Their last win was 3-2 against Ipswich at home in the Championship on 21 January.
◾Brighton have won only one of their last eight home games in all competitions, drawing two and losing five.

Birmingham
◾Birmingham have not won any of their last seven games in all competitions, losing two. Their last win was 3-1 against Wigan at home in the Championship on 10 January.
◾Birmingham are unbeaten in their last six away games in all competitions, winning three. Their last defeat on the road was 1-0 at Blackpool in the Championship on 6 December.

It is getting somewhat nervy now to say the least which makes any game very difficult

The first of a coupe of crucial ones today, will we shuffle off to relegation or fight tooth and nail to stay up. I am worried I already know the answer.

On what is perhaps one of the biggest and most vital game of the season, why do you feel the need to ROYALLY F**K UP our chances with this appalling attempt of an OMT.

:shootself

Personally, I'd say that the biggest and most vital game of the season will be at Millwall!

Six points needed from the next three games to keep on track for 49 pts (assuming a draw at Millwall).

Randolph (g) Cotterill and Donaldson look their best players. Cotterill would get in the Albion team at the moment.

It seems to be between the Albion and Millwall after Charlton get a vital 6 pts.

First thing to look for in the Albion team. Wil Bruno be a right back? Will Holla be in the squad?

I think Lualua might be on the bench. I would be a shock if Rohan Ince does not start.

I just hope the players give everything today. Now is the time for hard work and application, they need to start earning the lifestyle.

I hope that everyone gives their all today. Nice noisy crowd, no moaning or berating misplaced passes etc. And no looking over our shoulders at other results. Just concentrate on this one and getting the job done.

Up the Albion!!
