Sadly it was not to be. A very strong second place for Albion Blue.

Not sure how to tell a dog not to switch lanes on the final straight, but his inclination to go for the inside off the last bend has cost him in the last two races I've seen him run.

Eric ran well today, has had some bad luck of late not getting the openings for him to get into, but today he showed great pace down the back straight and got a nice opening off the last bend to power away to win just under a length.
