Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the loan capture of Middlesbrough wide man Emmanuel Ledesma on an initial month’s loan.

The 26-year-old is Albion’s fifth loan signing and is available for Saturday’s visit of Birmingham City to the American Express Community Stadium.
*
Manager Chris Hughton said, “It’s no secret that we were still looking to add a winger and strengthen in that area, and I am delighted to have agreed to bring Emmanuel in on loan.
*
“He brings good Championship experience, and is a creative player who is also capable of scoring goals. Our target was to add in four key areas, and we have now achieved that.”

After beginning his career as a youth player with Serie A side Genoa, Ledesma enjoyed a successful season's loan at Queens Park Rangers in 2008/09.
*
He spent time in Italy with Salernitana, Novara Calcio and Crotone, and also had a trial with Albion before moving to Walsall - where he had two spells either side of a summer spell in Argentina with boyhood club Defensa y Justica.
*
In his second spell with Walsall he scored four goals in nine starts, and attracted the attention of Middlesbrough in the summer of 2012.
*
This season Ledesma has found first-team opportunities limited at the Riverside Stadium – but impressed during a loan spell at Rotherham before Christmas where he made seven appearances.Watch Ledesma scoring for Rotherham in December.
