What's more Bonkers is that there are 4 PL Managers in the Top 10 - Just goes to show that the lower Leagues are actually worse for sacking Managers, even though most people claim that the financial stakes being so high in the PL are what makes it so ''cutthroat'' for Managers jobs

The PL clubs have already scaled the Everest the others are trying to climb up. Also get the feeling the three at the lesser clubs wouldn't be at serious risk of the boot if their clubs got nervy.

But for 3 of those Premier League teams, their manager has spent a percentage of their tenure in the lower leagues (mainly Championship) and have plenty of goodwill from their chairmen.

I would guess pretty much all of those managers are ' legends' at their clubs and while they might not be doing well at moment they have been very good for their respective club in the past and still remain the best choice for the board. Could be very wrong on this but maybe some boards realise that the next manager in won't be a miracle cure and maybe some managers believe (or have learnt) the grass isn't always greener at another club.

CHs Goodwill hasn't been tested because apart from one week I don't think he has been in the bottom 3 of the PL and Sean Dyche didn't have any more Goodwill than Jokanovic did - Its the Chairmen at Clubs and the fans which get Managers sacked. For that reason I think CH would be OK at Brighton but I have always said that Brighton won't get relegated under CH tenure

I can see Hughton being the only one left by next season though. If Burnley stay up they might move on, Poch will probably go unless they can guarantee cash for him to challenge the top two and Howe is going to get a shot sooner or later at a bigger club.

Let's be sure to remind him know how much we appreciate him and the job he continues to do for our football club on Saturday - It's only occasionally at home we sing 'One Chrissy Hughton, there's only one'....

What’s wrong with “ There’s only one Chris Hughton, there’s only one.... “ ?

How long before Chris becomes a 'rated' manager? He seems to have been 'underated' for a considerable time now. Heard him described as such on one of the LFC Forums today. Again

If he had stayed at Newcastle it might have changed that. Glad he didn't though being selfish
