Tony Pullis topped an Argus poll to be Albion's next manager

Argus readers want Tony Pulis to rescue Albion – after saving bitter rivals Crystal Palace.
The former Stoke manager was the runaway leader last night in our website poll.
We asked who should replace Sami Hyypia as Albion manager. Pulis, pictured, polled 41% of your votes as The Argus went to press.
The strong-willed Welshman steered Stoke to promotion from the Championship in 2007-08 and kept them in the Premier League for five years before he was relieved of his duties. He took over at Palace three months into last season and saved them from relegation from the top flight but quit in August.
Former Spurs chief Tim Sherwood, the early hot favourite for the Albion post when Hyypia was appointed in the summer, polled 22% of the votes.
Ex-Norwich boss Chris Hughton came next (15%), followed by former West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola (13%) and ex-Reading and Leeds No.1 Brian McDermott (9%).
