Who's in line for that job then?? That'll be one less manager for us to speculate about!

Bloody marvellous...... So why we fanny about with the clueless Finn, Madjeski once again outsmarts us and will probably appoint Hughton, Sherwood, Pulis (like that was ever likely) or Hoddle......

Sorry everyone, becoming more miserable by the post.....

I know I'm probably alone in this.. but I really like Adkins.

Excewllent motivator and built a fantastic team at Southampton.

You're not alone, I like him and am surprised it's gone so badly for him at Reading.
He did a wonderful job at Scunthorpe and at Southampton. It'll be interesting where he turns up next and whether he can put this failure behind him. I think he and Portsmouth could be a perfect fit, if the supporters can overlook his Saints past.

I like him as well.

It is gone badly wrong at Reading, but arn't they now owned by a Thai 'billionaire' with no money ?

With Tony's finance, Adkins could build a side here worthy of promotion to the PL. In fact no one could 'keep up' with us :lolol:

Get him in.
