For the first time ever - and it is hard to imagine this could ever happen again - one of the dogs will be running at exactly the same moment as the Albion are playing a match.

If this isn't a good excuse for one of the newly fashionable random rounds of applause I don't know what is.

At 9.07pm - about 25 minutes into the second half against Millwall ALBION BLUE will burst out of Trap One in a red jacket.

What chance we can get the result up on the scoreboard? Marginally more interesting to the crowd than the live running of the Cesarewitch was earlier this season.

Gutted. Can't make the game because of a Christmas do, so will miss Eric's race, too. I think Albion Blue has a better chance of winning, to be honest.

Albion Blue should walk now - we've had enough of his demands for extra dog biscuits and steak before each outing. Disgraceful and he should go now or be "sacked" or is that animal cruelty?
