It's a chance for the others as well, to nail a place in the team."
Sami Hyypia

Sami Hyypia is backing his other players to step up to the plate in the absence of Elliott Bennett ahead of today’s trip to face Norwich City at Carrow Road.
*
Bennett is ineligible to face his parent club, but Hyypia believes it is a perfect opportunity for other players to stake a claim for a regular place in the side.
*
He told seagulls.co.uk, “He's a good player and has done well for us. We knew already that we needed to play this game without him."That's how it is and another player needs to step up and be on top of their game to play well for us. It's a chance for the others as well, to nail a place in the team."

The Albion boss is also relishing the prospect of having more players available after their returns from injury, with Bruno and Solly March both close to returning to action after groin and back complaints respectively.
*
But the Finn stressed that he does not want to rush any player back into match action after a spell on the side-lines.
*
"It’s important to realise that just because the players are coming to training, it does not mean they are necessarily ready to play a game and we need to see how they feel first.
*
"Someone like Solly March has been out for a long time and it would be foolish to put him on the field straight away.
*
"Maybe physically he could do it, but then to expect him to put in a man-of-the-match performance straight away is something that would not be realistic.
*
"Hopefully we can increase the load and then the day will come when he can off the bench to change a game. Then when the time is right, he will be able to start games.”[h=3]ALBION V fulham
