Jake Forster-Caskey has a big shout of playing for England's under-21s in the Euro finals, but securing a place has just got tougher

First published in Albion by Andy Naylor, Chief sports reporter
Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey faces extra competition to earn a place in Gareth Southgate's England under-21s squad for next summer's Euro finals in the Czech Republic.
Roy Hodgson has told Southgate he will make all the eligible players in the senior squad available if Southgate wants to select them.
The likes of Raheem Sterling, John Stones, Luke Shaw and Saido Berahino have all played a part in the qualification stages over the last 13 months before being promoted to Hodgson's squad.
There are also several regular senior players still eligible for the competition who haven't previously featured for the Three Lions under Southgate, such as Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Calum Chambers and Phil Jones.
Forster-Caskey has established himself as a regular under Southgate. He featured in both legs of the play-off against Croatia which clinched the under-21s spot in the June finals.
