if I remember rightly the EEC at the time was only supposed to be a trade market nothing more or at least the public were led to believe it was, how wrong could you get !!. couldn't give a t*ss either way who entered us into the EEC right of left it was the wrong thing to do, all I can say is thank f*ck Britain opted out of the euro.
all I was saying was that new labour thrive on being in the EU and love everything it stands for. & so do the tories to an extent but not as much.
as for capitalism if its served correctly I have got nothing against it, everybody deserves the opportunity to make a lot of money for themselves if they are prepared to put in the hard graft it acquires, good luck to em and if there business employs lots of people all the better.
as for socialism I see it as being not much different from communism, they hate to see anyone who has made a lot of money for himself apart from the hierarchy who set outs these bills.

A very selective answer indeed. I am well aware that the two sitting MP were already conservatives in situ, but you are still going down the "sweeping statement" route, when you say as you do. The voters had every chance to vote conservative, but chose not to. Doubtless, some of them voted for the person, rather than the policies, which will always happen, but en masse they changed their vote, which showed some sort of conscious decision-making and weighing-up of views, and is thus hardly the hallmark of the gullible, as you arrogantly put it. Also, which of course you choose to ignore, some 11.000 voters in the Rochdale area chose to vote UKIP. They were, presumably, largely traditional labour voters hitherto, and so your argument breaks down here, other than for you to suggest that they too were all gullible and incapable of thinking for themselves.
You might not like UKIP, which is your prerogative, but you would be most ill-advised to assume that otherwise decent folk who vote for them do so simply because they are gullible. Afterall, the same accusation could be levelled at you for voting as you do.

Thankfully, the sweeping statements and generalisations from people like Dandyman say more about them than UKIP voters. It makes them look rather prattish and arrogant.

"what policies have UKIP got other than immigration" best not start slating UKIP if you haven't got a clue yourself what other policies they have.
as for how they will be paid for, foreign aid and the expense of being in the EU would be a good enough start.

The media are just trying to discredit UKIP at every opportunity. Soon as UKIP say something straight in the papers, if someone else said it from another party it wouldn't even be mentioned.
These stories have absolutely nothing to do with politics and now it's getting boring. It's a great distraction from the real problems in this country isn't it, the countries massive debt, increased immigration numbers under the Tory government, the massive payments we make to EU every day.

I could take to UKIP being on the back hand of any joke but when a snidey looking c*nt likes this decides to have a go I draw the line.
thing is I wouldn't of minded so much had it of been near on half funny but instead it was embarrassingly cringe worthy unfunny. as I say I switched off more or less directly I see his ugly looking mug.

My reckoning is that they will finish with less seats than Labour, Conservatives, SNP, Democratic Unionists, and maybe even the Lib Dems (!).

Actually i am happy at games, i go to watch BHA, who do you support?
You don't know what i am like in the general public, same as i don't know how you behave, i can only go on your nasty expletive ridden posts from a different country on anything bar BHA, plus you must have the hind of a rhino to still post after your constant lies......enjoy your pigs in blankets.
