Do you think are in this country?
50,000
75,000
100,000+

After hearing that we had 50,000 illegals abscond in recent years...How many could there be in this country right now?
???

According to 2001 census data, between 300k and 600k.

It could be closer to a million now - but don't get too angry about this, they are just human beings seeking a better life. They're probably not bad people, they would even contribute to the economy more if they were allowed to.

When you think of immigrants, both legal and illegal, rather than thinking how it may affect you, try to think about the reasons why they come here - and how we could be doing more to eliminate poverty in the places that they originate.

Did you copy and paste this from the UKIP website? ???

With 175,000 failed asylum seekers awaiting deportation and another 50,000 doing a runner , not as many as the scaremongers are saying.

Maybe you could get cheaper gas and electricity if they all got jobs at the British Gas call centre. Better still move the call centre abroad.

Over 100,000 Romanians who claimed asylum as roma gypsies and given the right to stay in the UK over the last 20 years are now classified as EU nationals.

Then you get some human rights tit on tv saying how they're escaping persecution from their countries...funny how they bypass many other wonderful countries on route to here:glare:

Persecution, extreme poverty, disease, war... problems that fortunate Westerners cannot even imagine, let alone empathise with.

It is obviously not just Britain affected by immigration, it's utter madness to even suggest that. Every first world, or even second world, nation is inundated with less fortunate people seeking a better life - if you were in their situation you would do exactly the same.

So instead of criticising those "human right tits" for having a single minded view on these things, or even worse criticise immigrants for seeking a better life - perhaps let's all try to understand why immigration happens and do more to tackle the root of the problem - global poverty, war, disease, and so on.
Yeah and use the UK as a haven from it all because that's what's happening, makes me really angry

Aren't you talking about Asylum Seekers?
It's not illegal to seek asylum is it?
Surely they only become illegal if they are refused refugee status and do not leave?

You could always try the Australian approach to helping people and find another poor poverty sticken country with a questionable human rights record and pay them to to take them for you. Or just spend millions locking the ****ers up in conentration camps on god forsaken islands dotted around your coast.

I suggest the Isle of Man
