Albion boss Sami Hyypia was disappointed with his side’s second half display at Huddersfield – but pleased enough with a point.
The Seagulls fell behind to a tenth minute goal from Jacob Butterfield but levelled through Lewis Dunk before half-time and were well worthy of a 1-1 draw in the end.
They have now failed to win in their last nine Championship games and remain 20th in the table.
Hyypia took positives from the game but wants to see his side become more of threat going forward.
He said: “Somehow we couldn’t get our game going in the second half.
“I felt we defended quite okay but only defending won’t give you the points. We have to accept one point from this game.
“It was a good response to their goal. In that period of time (in the first half) we played better than in the second half.
“In the second half, I don’t know why, we couldn’t get our game going but I’m very happy with the response of the players to come back to 1-1.
“But in the second half we could have done better.”
